OpenDataPhilly, the site built by Azavea that provides free and easy access to data for Philadelphia, is getting an upgrade and more funding.

Juliana Reyes from Technically Philly talks about the $35k grant that was given to OpenDataPhilly by The Knight Foundation for a complete upgrade of the site. OpenDataPhilly was originally built by Azavea, has since been taken over by the Philadelphia Public Interest Information Network. The upgrade will include a redesign and technical upgrade, better instructions and webinars on how the public can use OpenDataPhilly, and more.
