OpenTreeMap is chosen as a national project for Code for America’s Great American Civic Hack effort

Juliana Reyes of Technically Philly covers the two Philly based projects that were chosen by Code for America for their Great American Civic Hack effort, which is a summer long hackathon. OpenTreeMap is an open source project that provides an easy to use public inventorying platform that enables individuals, organizations, and governments to collaboratively contribute to an interactive and dynamic map of a community’s tree population.
