Temperate, our climate adaptation planning companion, was created in partnership with ICLEI-USA and funding from a US Dept of Energy grant (DE‐SC0011303) to assist localities in planning for the inevitabilities of climate change. The initial rollout was available for 1,000 U.S. cities.

A recent expansion of data means that we now support climate adaptation planning for the entire United States. Communities large and small all across the US can begin identifying hazards, creating vulnerability assessments, and planning adaptation steps.
