Azavea Celebrates New Office

Azavea Celebrates New Office

We were grateful to be able to celebrate our new office space with more than 175 guests this past Tuesday at our Open House.

Azavea Open House Guests

Earlier this year we moved to a new office a few blocks northeast of our previous location, which we had occupied for 13 years. Our new office includes areas designed for the mutual benefit of our employees, clients, and the community, and at 21,000 square-feet, the space will accommodate the growth of our team.

Both Councilman Allan Domb and Philadelphia Director of Commerce, Howard Epps said a few words about the significance of the successes of small businesses in the larger Philadelphia business community.

Guests enjoyed the views from the 5th floor office as they explored the floor plan and added markers to a hands-on map display that showed the neighborhoods of Philadelphia.

A word from Robert Cheetham, Azavea’s CEO

14 years ago, when we moved to the Callowhill neighborhood, it was in the early stages of transformation and it felt like a frontier. With Phase I of the Rail Park on the horizon and substantial new investment, this neighborhood feels like it is undergoing a new phase of revitalization. It combines great access to public transit, a rich and diverse cultural environment, and a reasonably priced real estate market. It has been a great location to grow a business. It is all part of an ongoing Philadelphia renaissance that is thrilling to both witness and participate in.
— Robert Cheetham, CEO and President of Azavea.

Thanks to all who celebrated with us, in person or in spirit! We look forward to hosting more events in our new space!
