Early Warning: Threshold Hunches

Threshold Hunches encompass a geographic watch area that generates an alert when a user-specified count of events is exceeded for a selected rolling time-frame. For instance, an officer may setup a watch area around the address of a victim of domestic abuse to generate alerts anytime a potentially related incident happens nearby. Threshold-based alerting is also useful for keeping officers aware of serious incidents as they happen -- such as homicides within their assigned district.
