Crime Analysis: Trending & Animation

By displaying multiple filters with different time periods, users can identify changes in the geographic distribution of crime over time. Each incident cluster is represented on the map by a pie chart showing the distribution of incidents within the cluster among your active filters, allowing you to identify where incidents are accelerating. Clicking on the bar chart highlights incidents for the selected time period and animation controls enable you to sequentially step through density maps to visualize how patterns are changing over time.
