Crime Analysis: Temporal Analysis

Visualize the temporal distribution of incidents with HunchLab's time-of-day and day-of-week visualizations. As users identify areas in need of intervention, they can identify the shifts during which to deploy officers, helping you focus limited resources where they will be most effective.

HunchLab presents two views of temporal distribution. One view presents the count of incidents that fall into a particular time of day range on each day of the week. The second view displays the density of incidents across time, similarly to how a spatial heatmap displays density across geography.
