Michael is a UI/UX Designer at Azavea. He works with software development teams to design, implement, and enhance user interfaces for company projects and client applications. He also works with the marketing team to create promotional collateral for conferences, advertising, and everything in between.

He graduated with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, with honors, from the University of the Arts.
Mike previously worked with Night Kitchen Interactive on digital projects for cultural and educational institutions, including the San Francisco Museum of Art and Penn Museum of Archeology and Anthropology. As a freelance designer, Mike also worked on projects for organizations including the National Association of Federal Credit Unions and Rope-a-Dope, a Philadelphia-based music and culture organization.
Mike is an active member of the AIGA Philadelphia, primarily involved in the association's interactive committee. He also has several independent projects he's working on, from a year-long exploration into branding and identity to designing and developing several mobile applications.
A big health and fitness fan, Mike enjoys cooking new (and hopefully healthy) dishes as often as possible. He's also involved in the Philadelphia brewery scene, and can be spotted attending beer festivals in the area.
