Erik works as a Software Developer with the GeoTrellis team. He started just in time to help launch the launch of CommonSpace and is currently working on an iPhone indicators application and a watershed modeling application intended for classroom use.
Erik graduated from Swarthmore College with degrees in Philosophy and Computer Science. At college, Erik worked as a DJ and radio engineer at WSRN, a systems administrator for the computer society, did sound for rock shows at Olde Club, played music and worked on independent movies.
Outside of work, Erik's time is split between his doom metal band Wormrider, maintaining a text-based adventure game called Angband, hacking on open source software, reading books, riding bikes, playing games and watching horror movies. He strives to implement transformative ideas.
