Brian is the lead UI/UX Designer at Azavea. He works with software development teams to design, implement, and enhance user interfaces for company projects and client applications. He also works with the marketing team to create promotional collateral for conferences, advertising, and everything in between.

Neuroscience undergrad degree from Bard College with recent design coursework from the University of the Arts. Attended an Edward Tufte seminar in 2009 whose books remain invaluable.
Brian previously worked at the West Virginia GIS Technical Center where he learned to use ArcGIS and created original designs for custom mapping applications.
A Long Island native, Brian enjoys a great bagel, epic cinema and music, hiking, biking, and the future of technology.
