Alerts

You can subscribe to the alerts for any Statistical or Threshold Hunch that was created in your HunchLab-powered system throughout a whole organization. Alerts can be received through the latest web technologies so they can be accessed anywhere: email, RSS and GeoRSS feeds.

Your alerts will:

• Provide the Hunch name
• Identify the data source
  
• Detail the crime type(s)
• Identify the pattern name
• Identify the severity score
• Provide a link back to your HunchLab-powered system, to the Hunch details page for that Hunch where data visualization and analysis tools provide additional insight into the alert. This will enable you to proactively deploy patrols or allocate resources where you suspect there might be a problem, before the pattern actually becomes a problem.
