Administrative Console

Beyond the core Hunch processing, alerting service and data visualization and analysis, HunchLab provides interfaces to manage and configure HunchLab, including:

User Authentication and Role-based Security

Discrete administrative roles allow you to define different levels of user accessibility and roles within your system.

System Administration Features

• User Management: Create or delete users, assign permissions, change passwords, or even send an email to all users.  

• Group Management: Set up groups that users can join. These can be based on area, like “District 7 Members” and/or crime classifications like “Burglary”. Based on these groups, users receive appropriate notification from Mass Hunches.

Mass Statistical and Threshold Hunch

Users with the 'create mass hunches' permission can create Mass Statistical and Threshold Hunches from the same screen used to create individual Hunches. Only users with this permission have this ability.  In addition, Mass Statistical and Threshold Hunches have a special administration screen in the Administrative Console which enables them to be viewed and deleted from there.

Activity Stats Reporting

Administrators can monitor how their system is being used and by whom. You can see trends of usage, utilization, and types of activity at a glance.
